Shine Kids Privacy Policy

 

What information do you ask for?

 

When you register on the SHINE KIDS website, you will give us your name, your school name and a contact email address.

Why do you need this information?

 

We use this information to give you access to the SHINE KIDS resources including the videos. We will use the supplied email address to keep you informed about any SHINE KIDS updates. 

 

We will not sell or share your personal information with 3rd parties or charities for marketing purposes.

Who do you share my information with?

 

You will see when you sign up for SHINE KIDS that this is a joint project run by Scripture Union Northern Ireland and Crown Jesus Ministries. Staff from each organisation with a restricted password can access the information you supplied. SHINE KIDS is a partnership project so although a representative from each organisation can access your information, it will only be for the purposes specified above and for supporting you in delivering SHINE KIDS. How is it kept safe? 

 

The registration information may be downloaded on to password protected, and in most cases encrypted, laptops. This data will then be used to contact you via email using Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or other secure email applications.

For how long do you retain my data?

 

We only need your details to contact and support you before, during and after your SHINE KIDS events. Your contact details will be deleted on an annual basis. This is why you will be asked to re-register each year you run SHINE KIDS.
